Join LEA in welcoming Linda Woodard of Maine Audubon for an engaging teacher workshop at the Science Center!
Flying Wild is part of the Project Wild series and applies the focus on birds to reach Middle School students using language arts, math, social studies and science. Although the lessons are developed with Middle School students in mind, they are highly adaptable and can be used for 4th-10th grade. Participants will receive a Flying Wild curriculum guide, Cornell’s BirdSleuth curriculum, and a bird feeder from Cornell!
