Join Maine Audubon, the Maine Forest Service and the Forest Stewards Guild for a morning of outdoor exploration and forest assessment at LEA’s Maine Lake Science Center in Bridgton. Participants will pair traditional forest management techniques with habitat assessment for Maine’s migratory forest songbirds and discuss possible changes to the land to increase biodiversity. It is geared towards foresters, land owners, land trust folks, birders, and anyone interested in learning about managing woodlands for species biodiversity.
