Please join us for a special snowshoe hike at Holt Pond to celebrate our love affair with clean water and the outdoors! Bring your sweetheart or some binoculars (or both!) and be prepared for an afternoon of exploring Holt Pond off trail. Winter is a wonderful time for us to check out this otherwise very wet ecosystem and go tromping across the floating bog, through the woods, across the Muddy River to the beaver house, and up close to the tamaracks that call Holt Pond home. Need snowshoes? Let us know and we’ll bring you a pair! This is part of the winter Great Maine Outdoor Week taking place from February 9-19, 2018 with free and low- cost events happening all over the state.
