Join us for a New Year on our newest preserve, the Highland Research Forest! This forested woods is a pleasure to explore in any season, and very beautiful in the winter on snowshoes! We will aim to explore the full loop trail, and maybe take a peek down to Highland Lake if folks are interested. Winter tree i.d, animal tracking, and good old snowshoeing to welcome in the new year properly! If you would like to borrow BOGS boots or a pair of snowshoes just let us know and we’ll bring you some. Please be prepared to be outside for a few hours with layers, snacks, and water.
