Calling all you landscaping DIYers! Perennial Point of View is joining LEA at the Maine Lake Science Center for an afternoon of teaching, planning, choosing plants, and consulting while you design YOUR space! Using a ‘perennial point of view’, as well as a native plant perspective, we will help you develop form and function and color through the season. We will have a planting demonstration, practice laying plants out on a blank landscape to test your eye, and give you time to start your process. Drawing up plans in the fall gives you the opportunity to dream about your garden space all winter, time to peruse plant catalogs all season, and be ready and raring to go in the spring. It is also a great time to sow native seeds, or plant perennials that will show their faces in the spring so whatever your timeframe, we have a nice fall day of planning ready for you.
You’ve been waiting all summer for this. It’s go time.
